8-4-09(Update) The 2009 Annual Meeting will be held in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, October 16th.  There will be a welcoming get together on Friday evening before the meeting. 
 
Except for officers, trustees, the grievance chair and the web chair, costs for hotel, travel and expenses will not be reimbursed in this a non-election and non-contract year.  The meeting minutes will be posted to the "members only" section of the web site. If members are coming unreimbursed or not please let Secretary, Heather Rasmussen, know at least a month in advance, so that we can size our meeting room forum and materials copies to accommodate.
 

 

new 4-13-09 The Union's grievance of the termination of a Kansas City, Mo. staff attorney has been denied by an arbitrator in a  decision of March 31, 2009. The ruling was that the Plan's termination decision was justified.

 

1-25-09 The members forum has been updated with new software powered by Blogger..

new 1-25-09 Hof's Blog now allows members to comment on Hof's postings.

 

October 20, 2008 Local 3357 held its 2008 Membership meeting in Cleveland the weeekend of October 17-18, 2008.

About 20 Officers, Area Reps, other officials and members attended. Highlights of discussion were the state of the American automobile companies, Union finances, election results, and bargaining items.

 

Sept 2008 Jordon Delmonte relected as Cleveland Area Rep 2-1.

8-1-08 The Membership has approved the new CBA by a substantial margin. Signing bonuses likely will appear in the 8-14 paychecks.

7-17-08 The Local is holding its 2008 Elections now. All members can expect to receive Nomination Forms by mail soon. After nominations are made a second mailing will include ballots for voting.
