Viva Las Vegas!!
The 2011 General Membership Meeting will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday, Oct.15th, 2011 at the Palace Station Hotel. Individuals can make accommodations wherever they see fit, since there are many choices on or near the strip to suit personal tastes.There will be a welcoming get together on Friday evening before the Saturday meeting.This is a return visit to the exciting community of Las Vegas (last met in 2002.). A survey earlier this year of the membership resulted in the selection of this locale which is now one of the least expensive of the candidates considered.
Except
for officers, trustees, the grievance chair, and the web chair,
Area Representative's costs for hotel, travel
and expenses will be reimbursed up to $500 in this
a pre-contract year. The meeting minutes will be posted after
the event to the "members only" section of the web site. If
members are coming please let Secretary, Heather
Rasmussen, know at least two months in advance, so that we can
size our meeting room forum and material copies to accommodate.
(Note: Reductions in attorney staffing throughout the country
have resulted in depleted Union resources, necessitating the meeting funding
plans.)
No official hotel has been chosen yet and information will be posted here when available. Attendees can book a hotel of their choice at anytime for housing accommodations and meet with the group at the offical hotel for the gettogether and memebership meeting, if desired. La Vegas offers a wide range of accommodations.

The 2010 Annual Meeting will be held in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, Oct.9th. There will be a welcoming get together on Friday evening before the meeting.This is a return visit to the wonderful community of Louisville.
